Message from Club Manager 19.12.2020
Following today's Welsh Government announcement, we will be closing our Laguna Health and Spa with immediate effect. We want to assure you that we will not be taking any monies from your account on the 1st January 2021 as we will put your membership on a free payment freeze until further notice. Once we have permission to open again we will send you an email update to give you further information. Your next direct debit will be on a pro-rata basis to cover the closure days. Thank you so much for your support during this incredibly difficult year and we are very much looking forward to welcoming you back in 2021.
New safety measures
These include contactless entry, increased hand sanitising stations, enhanced cleaning and socially distanced workout areas.
Due to government guidelines, we now require all gym users to wear a face masks upon entry to the health club. Face masks must remain on whilst navigating around the club, including the gym. Masks are not required whilst exercising.
The Class timetable has been amended to maintain social distancing measures.
Our changing rooms, showers, lockers and toilet facilities will all be available and have been modified for your return.
The swimming pool and spa bath will also be open with new protocols.
All our Personal Trainers are looking forward to welcoming you back and will be available for one to one sessions.
We have introduced a new booking system for the gym and pool. All members will need book in advance their classes and use of the pool. Bookings can be made up to a week in advance and we are currently limiting usage to a maximum of an hour a day.
Currently, members will be unable to use Guest passes. This will include bringing young children. We will review this regularly and hope to increase capacity numbers soon.
All water fountains in the gym and poolside will be out of action in the short term, we advise to bring your own fluids with you. Bottled water, isotonic drinks, and protein will be available for purchase at reception.
We have currently reduced the capacity in the gym and have increased space between equipment to 2m, as well as adding a one-way system to allow for social distancing guidelines. We have installed floor markings and directional signage to remind members of the steps we need to take together to keep the gym safe.
We have increased the amount of cleaning and sanitizing procedures and installed extra hand sanitiser gel dispensers around the gym. There will be additional cleaning stations around the gym, where you can use spray and blue roll to wipe down your equipment before and after use.
